Our goal is to assist students in the communities that we serve in their effort to pursue higher education. These scholarships will help unlock brighter futures for deserving and dedicated students.
What is Nix Check Cashing
Nix Check Cashing is one of the largest branded chains of check cashing facilities in California and has been in the community for over 40 years. Nix serves more than 600,000 customers each year at 55 locations.
In August 2007, Nix Check Cashing was acquired by Kinecta Federal Credit Union. Kinecta offers its members a full range of financial products through the Credit Union and its subsidiaries: Nix Check Cashing, Kinecta Financial & Insurance Services and Apollo Agencies, Inc.
What Kind of Scholarships is "NCCCOF" Offering?
To apply for the Nix Check Cashing Community Outreach Foundation’s Scholarship, students must be a high school graduate in academic year 2007-08 and show proof of acceptance to attend a four-year accredited college, community college or trade school; and must reside within a 3 mile radius of a Nix Check Cashing branch.
Who Can Apply for the Scholarships?
To apply for the Nix Check Cashing Community Outreach Foundation's Scholarship, students must be a high school graduate from the end of the current academic year, be eligible to enroll in and attend a four-year college, community college or trade school, and must reside in a community that is served by Nix Check Cashing.
